Now is the time
Not too often does an exciting opportunity like Downtown Chilliwack occur. Four acres of restaurant, retail, office, and residential space in Chilliwack’s city centre. This isn’t a mall or a shopping centre. It’s the city’s downtown being rediscovered, reimagined, rebuilt, and reconnected. Chilliwack is back — be a part of it.
Spotlight New Addition
W.T. Jackman began publishing the Chilliwack Progress from a wooden, three storey building in downtown Chilliwack in 1891. After 83 years reporting on the city from its Yale Road address, the paper left downtown for a modern and bigger facility. This fall, the Progress will return to its roots when it opens their new office on Yale Road in Phase I of Algra Bros’ Downtown Chilliwack project. The Chilliwack Progress publishes online daily and twice weekly in print.
The Algra Bros Difference
Algra Bros is a progressive commercial and residential development group based in downtown Abbotsford. Here, Algra has successfully put theories of New Urbanism and innovative approaches to the landlord/tenant relationship to the test. Beginning with the Oldhand Building (2015) and followed shortly by the Cobbler Building (2016), the Caps Building (2017), and culminating with the award-winning Flatiron Building (2017), these projects and their tenants have brought a new sense of vitality to Downtown Abbotsford and are instrumental in its recent resurgence. Now, Algra Bros brings their unique approach to development to the revitalization of Downtown Chilliwack. Click on the videos and listen to what our tenants have to say about the Algra Difference.
